It would be fair to say that Nabeul doesn’t boast the same reputation as some of Tunisia’s other resorts, but it still proves popular with tourists due to its picturesque coastal nature. Additionally, it boasts a thriving pottery industry and is another one of those locations that you really should see if you take a trip to the country.
Considering the fact that Nabeul is one of the smaller regions, with a population of just over 50,000, it has far fewer hotels than other places. Bearing this in mind, we have put together the five most popular establishments for those that are visiting the area.

Khayam Garden
The first entry on our list arrives in the form of Khayam Garden; a hotel which prides itself on being open to every type of visitor – whatever your age. It is surrounded by numerous swimming pools and unlike a lot of establishments; there are even water slides to keep the kids entertained.
On the subject of entertainment, we should move swiftly onto the animation team. This is something that Khayam Garden has become renowned for and whether you are young, and open to the games put on by the famous Banana, or old and looking forward to the evening entertainment, the resort doesn’t disappoint.
The restaurant at Khayam Garden is also worth a mention and provides a varied cuisine. On a similar note, and this goes against most hotels, there is a 24 hour bar which we’re sure most guests will take advantage of at some point!
Dessole Royal Lido Resort & Spa
We made a point of picking out the animation team for the previous hotel, and the same applies to Dessole Royal Lido Resort & Spa. This establishment has also amassed a superb reputation because of its entertainment programme and has some of the best evening shows around.
Of course, the resort is not based purely on entertainment. It has an excellent pool area, while the beach is situated a stone’s throw away and means that it is perfectly equipped to cater for those guests who just want a relaxing break.
We should mention that Dessole Royal Lido Resort & Spa has its own indoor pool as well, making it a resort that can easily be used all-year round.
It is also possible to stay in one of the resort’s bungalows, which provide guests with that little bit more privacy and luxury that we all demand from time-to-time.
Aldiana Tunisie
Some resorts, such as the previous two, are based on their animation team. While this is perfectly acceptable at the Aldiana Tunisie, it’s actually the restaurant which is the unique selling point. Past visitors of this establishment cannot get over the quality of the food served, while to top it all off it is a varied cuisine that will satisfy all tastes.
In terms of the pool area, Aldiana Tunisie has tried to satisfy everyone by providing two pools; one for adults and one for the kids. Of course, if the on-site swimming pools are not your thing, we should probably point out that the beach is situated right next to the grounds so there are more than sufficient bathing options!
Hotel Club Riadh
Hotel Club Riadh seems to be one of those resorts that is constantly progressing and the introduction of a sports complex highlights just how far they are going to satisfy the needs of their guests. On a more personable subject, the staff here are seen as some of the friendliest around and will wait on you hand and foot from the moment you step through the door.
Like most of the hotels in our guide, the Hotel Club Riadh is situated right beside the beach. For those who don’t want to take the few steps to the sand, there is a pleasant pool area surrounded by well-kept gardens and palm trees that always seems to grab the plaudits.
Elsewhere, the establishment has its own spa offering numerous treatments, which again makes it a firm favourite amongst past visitors.
Byzance Hotel
The final addition to our list is the Byzance Hotel and while this is not sat directly on top of the beach like a lot of the other entries are, it is only a five minute walk away which is more than acceptable for most families. Furthermore, despite the walk, most of the rooms still possess beach views which is always a quaint touch.
In comparison to a lot of hotels the Byzance is instead situated nearer the city, which means that guests have slightly more activities on their door step than those staying at rivals.
For those that do wish to stay on-site, the establishment still boasts a fantastic outdoor pool and surprisingly, this rarely gets busy. In short, the Byzance Hotel is ideal for guests seeking easy access to the city, whilst maintaining a relaxing break at the same time.
